It is found that the least accurate parts are grouped up in Row H for both target volumes with less than 2% CV. This indicates that some channels of Row H, if not all, may be inaccurate but precise. So these channels might need maintenance or calibration provided by the vendor service engineers. However, the conclusion should be made depending on the post-calibration results. Besides, Channel F11 for 100 μL and Channel C5 for 150 μL appeared to have the highest relative inaccuracy values. However, both of them had the highest CV as well, which might suggest that one or two out of three replicates were moderately different from the others. Because there were only three replicates, statistical analysis could rarely help to distinguish outliers. Therefore, it is recommended to not only retest the liquid handling robot after calibration, but also assess the performance for more than three replicates, if possible.
